Berner Rose

3.00

Berner Rose is a very popular European heritage variety from Bern, Switzerland. It is easy to grow and well suited for cooler climates.

The Berner Rose has a thin pinkish skin with a nice juicy and fleshy body. The fruits are of medium beefsteak size and have great subtle tomato flavours making it ideal for salads, sandwiches etc.

As with many beefsteak tomatoes it is on the late side of maturing, but well worth waiting for.

A classic with many gardeners often grown to complement other tomatoes they grow.

A must have, according to our Bernese Mountain dog Sam.
